Clio Art Fair Spotlight: Augustphil, a Review

My sculptures are designed to spark curiosity. Each piece invites the viewer to pause and wonder: How was this made? What’s the story behind it? I create work that challenges conventional thinking and encourages people to explore perspectives outside the norm. Through abstract forms and layered symbolism, I aim to disrupt assumptions and open up space for reflection, questioning, and deeper thought. My art isn’t about easy answers—it’s about prompting people to look closer, think differently, and embrace the unexpected."

Augustphil has showcased his work in the past Clio Art Fair 19th edition in May 8-11, 2025. Here is our short interview with the artist and a review of his experience at Clio Art Fair!

Augustphil, can you please describe your art in four words?

Unique, vibrant, storytelling, thoughtful.

What inspires your art?

The world.

How would you describe your experience at Clio Art Fair?

Had a great time meeting new people, seeing amazing work from other artists. My favorite part was to hear the different perspectives on my work, and the different interpretations. Some people made me realize details I didn’t even know I included.
