Artist Sherwin Cadore in his studio
“My work is grounded in a deep appreciation for the natural world and the people who move through it. As an oil painter, I explore the quiet conversations between realism and abstraction, searching for the place where the familiar becomes surprising. My portraits reflect the nuances of the human form and our connection to the landscapes—real or imagined—that shape us.
My path as an artist began with a choice to leave behind a corporate life in pursuit of something more authentic. Painting became a source of freedom, self-discovery, and inner peace. Each piece holds a fragment of that personal transformation. Whether I am depicting a face, a scene from nature, or something born entirely from imagination, my goal is to invite viewers into a moment of reflection and to inspire them to look at their world through a refreshed, more curious lens.”
